Sunday to Thursday: ‬09:00-17:00

Fridays and Holiday eves: ‬09:00-14:00

Yad Vashem is closed on Saturdays and all Jewish Holidays.

Entrance to the Holocaust History Museum is not permitted for children under the age of 10. Babies in strollers or carriers will not be permitted to enter.

Opening Hours

The Museum Complex and grounds are open to visitors. All visits to the Holocaust History Museum (individuals and groups) must be reserved in advance via our Online Reservation System.

Opening hours over the holiday period, 2022

On Rosh Hashanah Eve, 25.9.22, Yad Vashem will be open until 14:00.  The Holocaust History Museum will be open 9:00 -14:00.  Entrance to the Museum is permitted until one hour before closing. The Reading Room, Library and Archives will be closed.

On Rosh Hashanah, 26-27.9.22, Yom Kippur Eve and Yom Kippur, 4-5.10.22, Yad Vashem will be closed.

On the eve of Sukkot, 9.10.22, Yad Vashem will be open until 14:00. The Holocaust History Museum will be open 9:00 -14:00.  Entrance to the Museum is permitted until one hour before closing. The Reading Room, Library and Archives will be closed.

On Sukkot, 10.10.22, Yad Vashem will be closed.

On Hol Hamoed Sukkot, 11-13.10.22, Yad Vashem will be open as usual. The Reading Room, Library and Archives will be open 9:00-13:00.

On Hol Hamoed Sukkot, 14.10.22, and on the eve of Simhat Torah, 16.10.22, Yad Vashem will be open until 14:00. The Holocaust History Museum will be open 9:00 -14:00.  Entrance to the Museum is permitted until one hour before closing. The Reading Room, Library and Archives will be closed.

On Simhat Torah, 17.10.22, Yad Vashem will be closed.
