In order to guarantee the date and time of your visit to Yad Vashem, you are required to reserve your visit in advance via our online reservation system.
Due to the "Swords of Iron" war, implementation of the registration and handling fee for reservations to the Holocaust History Museum has been postponed from 1 January 2024 to 1 April 2024. Visitors can update and cancel existing reservations independently.
Please be advised that in the absence of advance reservation, entrance to the Holocaust History Museum will be conditional on available space.
Registration and Handling Fees
Reservation of visits between the hours 09:00 and 10:00 – 10 NIS per person
Reservation of visits between the hours 10:00 and 14:00 – 15 NIS per person
Reservation of visits from 14:00 until one hour before closing – 10 NIS per person
Do You Offer Discounts for Registration and Handling Fees?
Yes. Reservation of additional services at Yad Vashem such us private tours or Audio-Guide rental grants a 20% reduction in the registration and handling fee, in accordance with the time of the reserved visit.
Does every online reservation incur a registration and handling fee?
- Tours of Yad Vashem without entrance to the Holocaust History Museum will not incur a registration and handling fee (tours of the exhibitions and grounds).
- Entrance to the Holocaust History Museum without prior online reservation will not incur a registration and handling fee, but is conditional on available space.
When does the registration and handling fee come into operation?
The new reservation system will be uploaded to the Yad Vashem website in the course of September 2023. The registration and handling fee will be charged for reservations to the Holocaust History Museum from 1/1/2024. The date for determining payment is the date of the visit, not the date of the reservation.
Payment of Registration and Handling Fees
Private Visitors from Israel and Abroad
Payment of registration and handling fees and other services is carried out by credit card at the time of reservation.
Travel Agents and Organizations
- The customer will receive an invoice for registration and handling fees 2 days before the date of the scheduled visit. This payment is non-refundable and cannot be cancelled.
- After the visit itself, the customer will receive an invoice for services reserved.
- In the case of cancellation on the day of the scheduled tour due to "force majeure" (a state of emergency as declared by an authorized governmental agency), the registration and handling fee will be waived.
- Yad Vashem reserves the right to cancel/alter a reservation with advance notice to the visitor.
Updating/Cancelling Existing Reservations
- We would like to inform you that as of 1 May 2025 the guiding prices at Yad Vashem will be updated. Starting from this date, the audio system (headphones) will be included in the guiding price.
- Updates and cancellations of existing reservations can be carried out via the personal link sent to the customer's email on completion of a reservation, or via the Yad Vashem website
- Only the date and time of a scheduled visit can be updated
- Details required in order to update a reservation:
- Reservation number
- Date of visit
- Email address of the customer/institution code - When updating a reservation, please select a new date and time for entrance to the Museum (the system will only offer available dates and times)
- After the reservation has been updated, a confirmation email will be sent to the customer.
- Reservations scheduled for entrance times incurring a lower registration and handling fee may only be altered to times within that tariff (until 10:00 and after 14:00).
- Reservations scheduled for entrance times incurring a higher registration and handling fee may be altered to any time of day that is available.
- Reservations including a guided tour may be altered/cancelled free of charge up to 3 business days in advance, (excluding Fridays, Saturdays and Jewish holidays). Alterations/cancellations to reservations within 3 business days will incur a charge in the full amount for the services reserved.
- Reservations including Audio-Guide or headset rental (for external guides) may be altered/cancelled up to 2 business days in advance, free of charge (excluding Fridays, Saturdays and Jewish holidays). Alterations/cancellations to reservations within 2 business days will incur a charge in the full amount for the services reserved.
- Reservations for visits with no extra services (entrance to the Holocaust History Museum only) may be altered/cancelled until the date and time of the scheduled visit.
- The registration and handling fee will be charged once only, even if the reservation is updated/cancelled by the customer.
Regulations for Visitors to Yad Vashem
- Food, drinks and bags are not permitted inside the Museum. Smoking and photography are forbidden inside the Museum.
- Only Yad Vashem headsets may be used during guided tours
- Please arrive at Yad Vashem 15 minutes before your scheduled visit. Visitors who arrive late will be allowed into the Museum conditional on available space.
- When you arrive at Yad Vashem, please present the reservation confirmation email to a staff member at the Visitors Center.
- Entrance to the Holocaust History Museum is permitted until one hour before closing.
- Entrance to the Holocaust History Museum is permitted for children ages ten and over, on presentation of ID. Children under the age of ten, including babies in strollers/carriers are not permitted inside the Museum.
- For further information
