Yad Vashem is closed on Saturdays and all Jewish Holidays.

Entrance to the Holocaust History Museum is not permitted for children under the age of 10. Babies in strollers or carriers will not be permitted to enter.

Yad Vashem invites you to join guided tours of the Holocaust History Museum, given in your choice of English or Hebrew, by one of Yad Vashem's professional guides. The tours interweave the historical narrative of the period with the touching stories behind the testimonies, artifacts, photographs and artworks on display in the Holocaust History Museum. 

The Holocaust History Museum occupies over 4,200 square meters, mainly underground. Both multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary, it presents the story of the Shoah from a unique Jewish perspective, emphasizing the experience of the individual victim. The various forms of personal expression on display in the Museum enable the visitor to acquire a wealth of historical knowledge in an multisensory manner.
