Link bracelet made in the Lodz ghetto engraved with the date 30/9/1943. Each link of the bracelet depicts a scene of daily life in the ghetto – carts loaded with loaves of bread, the steeple of the Catholic church that was in view of the ghetto's wooden bridge, a guard next to his post at the ghetto entrance, and the workers hauling the ghetto sewage cart. Engraved on the central link are the initials GF. The bracelet was found by Shmuel Barash, one of the 800 remaining Jews tasked with cleaning out the liquidated ghetto.
