SA units burned the synagogue and school in Oldenburg, and conducted mass arrests throughout the region. Over 30 Jews were transported to Sachsenhausen concentration camp. Of the 279 Jews registered in Oldenburg in 1933, many immigrated to Holland, South America, Eretz Israel, the United States and Canada.
