Pskov's Jews were annihilated in January 1942 or, according to other sources, in October – November 1941, when all the Jewish population of the ghetto was put onto trucks and taken to the Vaulin hills, 4 kilometers from Pskov. There the people were shot. Their valuables were taken by the Germans.

… In August 1941 an accountant named Mamioffe was shot. This upset all the Jews. In January 1942 during a single night all the Jews - the old people, women, children, and others - were arrested and taken away. According to what my patients and other residents said, they were shot near Vaulin hills 4 kilometers from Pskov....
