Yad Vashem is closed on Saturdays and all Jewish Holidays.

Entrance to the Holocaust History Museum is not permitted for children under the age of 10. Babies in strollers or carriers will not be permitted to enter.

Heroism and Resistance: Rescue by Jews during the Holocaust

A Build-It-Yourself Exhibition

Designed to promote dialogue about the Holocaust, the exhibition Heroism and Resistance: Rescue By Jews During the Holocaust is offered to the general public in an accessible print and display format recommended for community centers, places of work and public spaces. The museum-quality exhibition files are available free of charge, and with the help of simple, user-friendly instructions, you will be able to print and assemble the exhibition quickly and easily.

Exhibition tells the story o the Jews who found themselves facing unprecedented situations, which tested their human principles of solidarity. During the Holocaust were a multitude of cases across the board of mutual aid which was nothing short of essential to the survival of a particular individual. They  chose to act to save other Jews, under a very real threat to their lives.
