The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Austria, H.E. Mr. Alexander Schallenberg, will visit Yad Vashem on Wednesday, 30 March 2022. Minister Schallenberg will tour the Holocaust History Museum together with Austrian Federal Minister for Digital and Economic Affairs Margarete Schramböck. They will jointly participate in a memorial ceremony in the Hall of Remembrance, visit the Children’s Memorial and sign the Yad Vashem Guest Book. Yad Vashem Chairman Dani Dayan will accompany the ministers throughout their visit to Yad Vashem, and will meet with them at the conclusion of the visit.
There will be photo-ops in the Hall of Names and Hall of Remembrance, and at the signing of the Guest Book outside the Children's Memorial. Media interested in covering the visit must RSVP to simmy.allen@yadvashem.org.il, and arrive at the Hall of Names with a valid GPO card, by 10:50.
