Sunday to Thursday: ‬09:00-17:00

Fridays and Holiday eves: ‬09:00-14:00

Yad Vashem is closed on Saturdays and all Jewish Holidays.

Entrance to the Holocaust History Museum is not permitted for children under the age of 10. Babies in strollers or carriers will not be permitted to enter.

Russian President Putin to Visit Yad Vashem Tomorrow

Russian President Vladimir Putin, accompanied by Israeli President Moshe Katsav, will visit Yad Vashem, Thursday, April 28, 2005, at 16:15.

Following are press arrangements for his visit:

16:15: Arrival at Yad Vashem Closed

Holocaust History Museum: Pool: 2 photo-ops

Holocaust Art Museum: Pool: 1 photo-op

17:20: Wreath-laying Ceremony at the Hall of Remembrance: Open

17:30: Signing of the Guest Book, exit of Children’s Memorial: Pool

All journalists must arrive at Yad Vashem by 14:45 for security checks. We cannot guarantee that journalists who arrive after 15:15 will be able to enter. Only traveling press and journalists with valid 2005 GPO card will be allowed to enter. A shuttle will be available from Har Herzl beginning at 14:30 until 15:00.

The President will not take questions at Yad Vashem.
