President of Germany at Yad Vashem Sunday

The President of the Federal Republic of Germany, Christian Wulff, accompanied by his daughter Annalena Wulff, will visit Yad Vashem on Sunday, November 28, 2010.

During his visit to Yad Vashem, the President will tour the Holocaust History Museum, including the Hall of Names, accompanied by Yad Vashem Chairman Avner Shalev, and participate in a Memorial Ceremony in the Hall of Remembrance before visiting the Children’s Memorial and signing the Yad Vashem Guest Book. President Shimon Peres will participate in the Memorial Ceremony in the Hall of Remembrance. President Wulff will then lay a wreath in the Valley of the Communities, next to the wall on which his hometown, Osnabrück, Germany, appears.
