Mayor of New York will visit Yad Vashem Today

The Mayor of New York, Mr. Bill de Blasio, will visit Yad Vashem today, October 18, 2015. The Mayor is visiting Israel as part of the 30th International Mayors Conference. Mr. de Blasio will be joined by some 40 other international Mayors participating in the Conference.

 
The Mayor will tour the Holocaust History Museum, participate in a memorial ceremony in the Hall of Remembrance, visit the Children’s Memorial and sign the Yad Vashem Guest Book.
 
There will be photo-ops in the Hall of Names, Hall of Remembrance and signing of the Guest Book outside the Children's Memorial. Media who are interested in covering the visit must RSVP to media.relations@yadvashem.org.il , and arrive at the Hall of Names with valid GPO card, by 12:30
