Yad Vashem is closed on Saturdays and all Jewish Holidays.

Entrance to the Holocaust History Museum is not permitted for children under the age of 10. Babies in strollers or carriers will not be permitted to enter.

U.S. Secretary of State to Visit Yad Vashem Thursday

Secretary of State of the United States of America Michael R. (Mike) Pompeo will visit Yad Vashem, the World Holocaust Remembrance Center, on Thursday, 21 March 2019. The Secretary of State will tour the "Flashes of Memory – Photography during the Holocaust" exhibition, participate in a memorial ceremony in the Hall of Remembrance and sign the Yad Vashem Guest Book.

There will be photo-ops in the Hall of Remembrance and at the signing of the Guest Book outside the Hall of Remembrance.

Media interested in covering the visit must register in advance with the Communications Division to simmy.allen@yadvashem.org.il, and arrive at the Visual Center with a valid GPO card, by 10:00 for security check.
