Yad Vashem is closed on Saturdays and all Jewish Holidays.

Entrance to the Holocaust History Museum is not permitted for children under the age of 10. Babies in strollers or carriers will not be permitted to enter.

Hungarian Prime Minister to Visit Yad Vashem Tomorrow

The Prime Minister of the People's Republic of Hungary H.E. Mr. Viktor Orbán will visit Yad Vashem, the World Holocaust Remembrance Center, tomorrow, Thursday, 19 July 2018. The Prime Minister will tour the Holocaust History Museum guided by Dr. Robert Rozett, Director of the Yad Vashem Libraries and historian of Hungarian Jewry and the Holocaust in Hungary, participate in a memorial ceremony in the Hall of Remembrance, visit the Children's Memorial and sign the Yad Vashem Guest Book.

There will be photo-ops in the Hall of Names, Hall of Remembrance and at the signing of the Guest Book outside the Children's Memorial. Media interested in covering the visit must RSVP to simmy.allen@yadvashem.org.il, and arrive at the Hall of Names with a valid GPO card, by 16:30.
