Yad Vashem is closed on Saturdays and all Jewish Holidays.

Entrance to the Holocaust History Museum is not permitted for children under the age of 10. Babies in strollers or carriers will not be permitted to enter.

Japanese Foreign Minister will visit Yad Vashem Tomorrow

The Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan, H.E. Mr. Toshimitsu Motegi, will visit Yad Vashem, the World Holocaust Remembrance Center, tomorrow, Wednesday, 18 August 2021. The Minister will tour the "Flashes of Memory: Photography During the Holocaust" exhibition, participate in a memorial ceremony in the Hall of Remembrance, visit the tree planted in honor of Righteous Among the Nations Siempo Sugihara, and view the Children’s Memorial. The visit will conclude with the signing of the Yad Vashem Guest Book.

There will be photo-ops in the "Flashes of Memory" exhibition and Hall of Remembrance, as well as at the signing of the Guest Book outside the Children's Memorial. Media interested in covering the visit must RSVP to simmy.allen@yadvashem.org.il, and arrive at the Flashes of Memory exhibition with valid GPO card and Green Pass, by 10:00.
