Cousins will meet for the first time at Yad Vashem on Thursday, April 21, 2011. The first cousins, one of whom had believed she had no family anywhere in the world, are residents of Tel Aviv and Haifa, and discovered each other thanks to a Page of Testimony on Yad Vashem's Central Database of Shoah Victms' Names at www.yadvashem.org commemorating their mutual grandparents who were murdered in the Holocaust. he reunion will take place at 11:30 in Warsaw Ghetto Square, to be followed by a reception and a visit to the Hall of Names. The family speaks Hebrew. Later in the day the families will tour the Virtues of Memory exhibit and the Museum of Holocaust Art at Yad Vashem.
Yad Vashem has identified two-thirds of the Jews murdered in the Holocaust - 4 million names.
