Sunday to Wednesday: 09:00-17:00
Thursday: 9:00-20:00 *
Fridays and Holiday eves: 09:00-14:00.

Yad Vashem is closed on Saturdays and all Jewish Holidays.

* The Holocaust History Museum, Museum of Holocaust Art, Exhibitions Pavilion and Synagogue are open until 20:00. All other sites close at 17:00.

The central theme for this year's Holocaust Martyrs' and Heroes' Remembrance Day is Children in the Holocaust. The official opening ceremony will take place on Monday, April 20, 2009 at 20:00, at Warsaw Ghetto Square, Yad Vashem. It will be carried live on Channels 1, 2, 10, and 33 and on Kol Israel and Galei Zahal radio.

Yad Vashem will be closed to the public from 12 noon on April 20, and re-open on Tuesday, April 21 at 8:00 a.m.
