Bnei Sakhnin and Kiryat Shmona Football Teams to Visit Yad Vashem Tomorrow

Tomorrow, players, coaches and management of the football teams “Bnei Sakhnin” and “Kiryat Shmona” 9 will visit Yad Vashem in a join visit. Chairman of Yad Vashem Avner Shalev will greet the teams on their arrival. “I welcome this initiative,” said Shalev. “In light of racist expressions that we are witness to today in the sports arenas, I invite all the football teams in Israel to visit Yad Vashem.”

11:15: Arrival

11:20: Greetings by Avner Shalev, Chairman of Yad Vashem - OPEN

11:25: Tour of the Holocaust History Museum - CLOSED to Cameras. There will be a PHOTO-OP in the Hall of Names.

13:30: Tour of “BESA: A Code of Honor: Muslim Albanians Who Rescued Jews in the Holocaust” - OPEN

13:45: Children’s Memorial - CLOSED to Cameras

14:00: End of visit
