On Wednesday September 11, 2013 at 15:00 the official memorial event marking 72 years since the murder of the Jews in Ukraine, including the massacres at Babi Yar and adjacent areas, will be held at Yad Vashem. The wreath-laying ceremony will take place in partnership with the Association of Ukrainian Immigrants in Israel, in the Hall of Remembrance with the participation of Minister of Immigrant Absorption Sofa Landver, Chairman of the Jewish Agency Natan Sharansky, Ukrainian Ambassador in Israel H.E. Hennadii Nadolenko, Chairman of the Yad Vashem Directorate Avner Shalev, Chairman of the Association of Ukrainian Immigrants in Israel David Levin and Holocaust survivors.
