Pensioners Party led by party Chairman Rafi Eitan to Visit Yad Vashem Tomorrow

During the visit, Yad Vashem Chairman of the Directorate Avner Shalev will show Minister Eitan artifacts recently received by Yad Vashem related to the capture of Eichmann

Tomorrow, Tuesday, July 11, 2006, members of the Pensioners Party, led by Minister Rafi Eitan, will visit the new Museum Complex at Yad Vashem, and learn about the International School for Holocaust Studies educational activity. Party members are coming to Yad Vashem in advance of the opening of a new department in the Ministry that will address the needs of Holocaust survivors.

During the visit, Eitan will be shown never before seen artifacts related to the capture of Adolf Eichmann. Eitan was a member of the Mossad at the time of Eichmann’s arrest, and responsible for the overall mission. The items Minister Eitan will view were recently given to Yad Vashem by Mossad chief Meir Dagan during a day-long seminar for senior Mossad officials held at the International School for Holocaust Studies at Yad Vashem.

13:00: Tour of the Holocaust History Museum - Closed

14:15: Hall of Names - OPEN. Prior registration required.

14:45: Display of the artifacts - OPEN. Prior registration required.
