Yad Vashem is closed on Saturdays and all Jewish Holidays.

Entrance to the Holocaust History Museum is not permitted for children under the age of 10. Babies in strollers or carriers will not be permitted to enter.

Yad Vashem Memorial Ceremony Marking 75 Years since the Murders at Babi Yar

On Sunday, 9 October 2016, at 15:00 a memorial ceremony will be held at Yad Vashem commemorating 75 years since the murder of the Jews of Kiev and the surrounding areas during the massacre at Babi Yar in late September 1941. The wreath-laying ceremony will take place in the Hall of Remembrance, in partnership with the Association of Ukrainian Immigrants in Israel and in the presence of the Minister of Aliyah and Immigrant Absorption Sofa Landver, Ukrainian Ambassador to Israel H.E. Mr. Hennadii Nadolenko, and Chairman of the Association of Ukrainian Immigrants in Israel David Levin, as well as Holocaust survivors.
