(5 June 2016 – Jerusalem) The President of Liberia H.E. Ms. Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf, will visit Yad Vashem on Monday, 6 June 2016. The Prime Minister will tour the Museum of Holocaust Art, visit the Synagogue, participate in a memorial ceremony in the Hall of Remembrance, visit the Children’s Memorial and sign the Yad Vashem Guest Book.
There will be photo-ops in the Hall of Remembrance, and at the signing of the Guest Book outside the Children's Memorial. Media interested in covering the visit must RSVP to simmy.allen@yadvashem.org.il, and arrive at the Hall of Remembrance with a valid GPO card, by 12:45.
