Fridays and Holiday eves: ‬09:00-14:00

Yad Vashem is closed on Saturdays and all Jewish Holidays.

Entrance to the Holocaust History Museum is not permitted for children under the age of 10. Babies in strollers or carriers will not be permitted to enter.

President of Austrian Parliament Sobodka to Visit Yad Vashem, 3 April 2024

On Wednesday, 3 April 2024, H.E. Mr. Wolfgang Sobotka, President of the Parliament of the Federal Republic of Austria will visit Yad Vashem, the World Holocaust Remembrance Center in Jerusalem. He will be accompanied by Yad Vashem Chairman Dani Dayan.

The President of the Austrian Parliament will tour the Collections Center, where he will have the unique opportunity to see firsthand artifacts and archival documentation housed in the world's largest Holocaust-related Archives. At the conclusion of the visit the Mr. Sobotka will participate in a memorial ceremony to take place in the Hall of Remembrance, after which he will sign the Yad Vashem guest book.

Journalists who wish to cover the visit are asked to confirm their arrival ahead of time and to arrive at the Hall of Remembrance at 17:20.
