Yad Vashem is open to the general public, free of charge. All visits to Yad Vashem must be reserved in advance.

Turkish Prime Minister to Visit Yad Vashem Today

Turkish Prime Minister Tayyip Erdogan will visit Yad Vashem, Sunday, May 1, 2005 at 14:00.

Following are press arrangements for his visit:

14:00: Arrival at Yad Vashem Closed

Holocaust History Museum: Pool: 1 photo-op Hall of Names

15:00: Wreath-laying Ceremony at the Hall of Remembrance: Open

15:15: Signing of the Guest Book, exit of Children’s Memorial: Open

All journalists must arrive at Yad Vashem by 13:00 for security checks. Only traveling press and journalists with valid 2005 GPO card will be allowed to enter.

The Prime Minister will not take questions at Yad Vashem.
