Thursday: 8:30-20:00 *
* The Holocaust History Museum, Museum of Holocaust Art, Exhibitions Pavilion and Synagogue are open until 20:00. All other sites close at 17:00.

Fridays and Holiday eves: ‬08:30-14:00

Yad Vashem is closed on Saturdays and all Jewish Holidays.

Entrance to the Holocaust History Museum is not permitted for children under the age of 10. Babies in strollers or carriers will not be permitted to enter.

Brazilian President to Visit Yad Vashem Tuesday

01 April 2019

President of the Federative Republic of Brazil H.E. Mr. Jair Bolsonaro will visit Yad Vashem, the World Holocaust Remembrance Center, on Tuesday, 2 April 2019. The President will tour the "Flashes of Memory – Photography during the Holocaust" exhibition, participate in a memorial ceremony in the Hall of Remembrance, and sign the Yad Vashem Guest Book. Israel's Minister of Tourism Yariv Levin will accompany the Brazilian President throughout his visit to Yad Vashem.

There will be photo-ops in the Hall of Remembrance and at the signing of the Guest Book outside the Hall of Remembrance.

Media interested in covering the visit must register by 01/04/2019 at 13:30 with the Communications Division to simmy.allen@yadvashem.org.il, and arrive to the Hall of Remembrance with a valid GPO card, by 15:15 for a security check.
