Helga Wolfenstein would often accompany Petr Kien when he ventured out into the streets of the ghetto to draw. In her testimony, she relates how they would spend many hours together, during which time Petr would enrich her knowledge of drawing, art and poetry.
This artwork offers a rare glimpse into the act of creativity as it unfolds.

One of the plays performed in the ghetto was the satirical comedy, "George Dandin ou le Mari Confondu" (George Dandin or The Thwarted Husband) by Molière, which was written in 1668 and exposed the hypocrisy of the aristocracy in Paris.
