The decoration for Purim consists of an architectural façade with the phrase" When Adar begins we increase our Joy". It was made by Moshe Gluck from Dees (Dej) Hungary. Gluck combined the text of the book of Esther and the text of liturgical poems read in the Synagogue during the month of Adar. The technique of images made of tiny writing of holy texts is called "micrographia". This specialized Jewish art form has been practiced since the tenth century.
