Online Guide of Murder Sites of Jews in the Former USSR
This online Guide includes the sites where Jews were murdered in the Former USSR during World War II. The Guide forms part of an ongoing research project that maps and describes the murder of Jews in the Former USSR.
Our research has provided a broad picture of the Holocaust in the Former USSR and is based on sources from various databases at Yad Vashem. Alongside the Yad Vashem project “The Untold Stories,” which combines the results of historical research with documents reflecting personal experience, the Guide includes concise information on the location of murder sites, the identity of the perpetrators, the number of victims and how the Jews were murdered.
