The President of Fiji, H.E. Mr. Ratu Wiliame Maivalili Katonivere, will visit Yad Vashem on Wednesday, 3 August 2022. President Katonivere will tour the Holocaust History Museum, participate in a memorial ceremony in the Hall of Remembrance, visit the Children’s Memorial and sign the Yad Vashem Guest Book.
There will be photo-ops in the Hall of Names and Hall of Remembrance, and at the signing of the Guest Book outside the Children's Memorial. Media interested in covering the visit must RSVP to simmy.allen@yadvashem.org.il, and arrive at the Hall of Names with a valid GPO card, by 11:30.
