Holocaust Martyrs' and Heroes' Remembrance Day 2020

Each year, during the central memorial ceremony held at Yad Vashem on the eve of Holocaust Remembrance Day, six torches are lit in memory of the six million Jews who were murdered in the Holocaust. The personal stories of the torchlighters reflect the central theme chosen by Yad Vashem for Holocaust Remembrance Day. Their individual experiences are portrayed in short films screened during the ceremony.
