Recently, former Christian Leadership Seminar Graduates of Yad Vashem hosted events at their churches in North Carolina to inform their congregants not just about the Holocaust but also of the increasing antisemitism around the world. Dr. Susanna Kokkonen spoke at these events finding a receptive and open audience. It is amazing how much our seminar participants can help us after they have spent a week at Yad Vashem with experts and Holocaust survivors. 

The main purpose of the USA trip was to attend a large annual gathering, Proclaim 17, the NRB International Christian Media Convention. This was held in Orlando, Florida February 26 - March 2, 2017. Over 200 exhibitors were present in addition to lectures, workshops and public events. Yad Vashem once again participated through the Israel Ministry of Tourism. Many visitors are attracted by the various exhibitors from Israel. Many former Yad Vashem Christian Leadership Seminar Graduates were present with their own ministries or volunteering for other Christian groups. It is so good to see how their training at Yad Vashem enables them to work with other global issues. It is great to come back to the NRB year after year and meet with the most influential leaders in global Christian media. 

The NRB is also a TV network and partners with us in bringing our message to TV viewers in the USA as well as worldwide. This year again, on International Holocaust Remembrance Day, January 27 they broadcast the moving ceremony from Yad Vashem, originally presented on Yom HaShoah, the Israeli date of Holocaust Remembrance Day in April 2016 at Yad Vashemin Jerusalem. We are so grateful for this cooperation.
