The calendar notes the special prayers and blowing of the shofar (ram's horn) in the month preceding the Jewish New Year in 1946. The calendar page ends on the eve of Rosh Hashanah.

The calendar was given as a present to Mordechai Weiss, a Polish refugee, in the Soviet Union in 1943.  To the best of Mordechai Weiss' knowledge, the person who wrote the calendar was murdered.
