After the war, the Jewish youth movements renewed their activities across Slovakia, including Bratislava. With the help of the Joint Distribution Committee, members of the Bnei Akiva movement in Bratislava established boarding schools where survivor orphans lived and were treated in preparation for their immigration to Israel.
