Ford Foundation

The Ford Foundation supports visionary leaders and organizations on the frontlines of social change worldwide. Established on Jan. 15, 1936, the Foundation has become one of the foremost philanthropic entities. Their programs continue to serve the public welfare by strengthening democratic values, reducing poverty and injustice, promoting international cooperation and advancing human achievement. Currently, they make grants throughout the United States and support programs in more than 50 countries. Since 2010, as part of their commitment to advancing human achievement, the Ford Foundation has supported Yad Vashem’s Righteous Among the Nations Departments activities.
