Murder story of Satanov Jews in the Bazarnaya Square Cellar

Many years have passed since I last saw you…. Where can I find the words to describe to you the terrible pain and disaster that the brown animal – German Fascism – caused humanity in general and our [Jewish] people in particular? Thus, they [the Jews] were annihilated due to the lack of food, air, and water; they suffocated. The dead ones, along with those who were still alive, lying and standing, dying mothers, starved babies in their mother's arms, [fell] next to other or on the top of each other. Thus, the devil was laughing while dancing a cruel dance, a dance of suffering and death; thus, under the surface of the ground it was a hell…. Of our large family only a few survived. The Hitlerites murdered all of them….
