Murder story of Shatava Jews in the Sand Quarry near Shatava

In the fall of 1941 about 300 Jews from Shatava and nearby Makov, together with some Roma (Gypsies), were shot to death by a unit of Einsatzgruppe C at the sand quarry outside of town.
