Murder Story of Stalindorf Jews in Novo-Pavlovka

In April or May 1942 about 450 Jews from Stalindorf and other villages were taken to the village of Maryevka southwest of Stalindorf and locked into stables. After some time they were taken by cart to Novo-Pavlovka and put into a barn. Then they were taken to a nearby pit and shot to death. The shooting was carried out by German and local auxiliary policemen.

In April 1942 Jews from land district D and ones evacuated from other areas were forced into stables in the village of Maryevka in Stalinsk [Stalindorf] County, Dnepropetrovsk District. Then all of them were taken to the village of Novo-Pavlovka, where pits had been dug in advance. There a bloody massacre of defenseless old people, women, and young people started. Many children were not shot but killed by smashing their little heads against the wheels of carts while others some were thrown into the pits alive. A total of about 450 people were killed…
