According to testimonies, Gomel Jews who had apparently succeeded in evading the large-scale massacres, but were [subsequently] discovered by local auxiliary policemen, were taken to the SD headquarters on Stolyarnaya Street in the center of the city. From there, they were taken by truck to an anti-tank trench near the village of Krasnoye, about 8 kilometers northwest of Gomel, and shot. The number of Jews murdered near Krasnoye is unknown.
