According to eyewitness testimony, the Germans took young Jews of Lipen to the bridge over the river, forced them over the rails, and then pushed them into the river. As the victims were falling, they were fired on. Neither the date nor the number of victims of this massacre is known.

Vladimir Kasperskii, who was born in Lipen in 1934, testified:

...The young Jews were murdered earlier. They were taken to the bridge, forced over the rail, kicked into the river, and then shot. A young girl named Dora, who was a champion swimmer, succeeded in swimming downstream for some time, but was chased by a German or policeman who ran after her along the bank, caught up with her, and killed her.
