Murder Story of Kilikiyev Jews in Kutki

Murder Site
Kutki
Ukraine (USSR)
In the early morning of March 4, 1942 Ukrainian auxiliary policemen went through Jewish houses and drove about 35 Jews (mainly women and several old men) out of their homes. After being collected at the local school building and ordered to take with them personal belongings and valuables, they were taken on carts, apparently under the guard of members of the Gendarmerie (rural order police) and Ukrainian auxiliary policemen 1.5 kilometers outside of town to a field near the village of Kutki, on the bank of the Korchik River. On their arrival at the site they were shot to death, apparently by members of the Gendarmerie and, according to some testimonies, by at least one Ukrainian policeman.
