Yad Vashem is closed on Saturdays and all Jewish Holidays.

Entrance to the Holocaust History Museum is not permitted for children under the age of 10. Babies in strollers or carriers will not be permitted to enter.

The event, jointly hosted by the Israeli Embassy, Yad Vashem and the American Society for Yad Vashem, marked the first time that a ceremony presenting medals and certificates of honor to American Righteous Among the Nations was held in the United States.
