Martin Greenfield, the celebrated master tailor, told his story of survival to 170 young professionals.

He also visited the Memorial Cave and the viewed the name of his rescuer, Petro Tokarsky, which is engraved in the Garden of the Righteous Among the Nations.
They toured the Holocaust History Museum and the temporary exhibition "Stars Without a Heaven: Children in the Holocaust." The group are photographed here in the Yad Vashem Synagogue which was established through the generosity of Marilyn and Barry Rubenstein and family.

The Dinner shed light on the theme of Liberation and the Return to Life after the Holocaust, paying tribute to the victims and Survivors. The ASYV honored Rose and Philip Friedman, longtime Yad Vashem supporters and accomplished figures in business and philanthropy. In addition, the Horace W. Goldsmith Foundation along with the Steinberg Family were also recognized. Wolf Blitzer, CNN's lead political anchor and Middle East reporting expert, was the night's featured speaker. The program also included Rabbi Jacob J. Schacter (pictured) and Mary Jean Eisenhower. With some 500 guests in attendance, the dinner was a great success.

On 12 December 2015 , Carol and Ed Kaplan, together with their son and daughter-in-law Martin and Amy Kaplan and their grandchildren, marked their granddaughter Sydney's bat mitzvah at the Yad Vashem Synagogue.
Their visit included a viewing of one of the paintings by Holocaust victim Charlotte Salomon, which they donated to the Yad Vashem Museum of Holocaust Art.
