Yad Vashem is closed on Saturdays and all Jewish Holidays.

Entrance to the Holocaust History Museum is not permitted for children under the age of 10. Babies in strollers or carriers will not be permitted to enter.

Their visit concluded in the Valley of the Communities, of which Tzippy's parents, Paula and William Mandell z"l, were Guardians. Their granddaughter Alexis (third from right) gave a moving speech displaying pride in the heritage of her family.

On August 8th, 2013 Keene State College's Cohen Center for Holocaust and Genocide Studies had a Community Reception in honor of the traveling version of Yad Vashem's new exhibition "I Am My Brother's Keeper - Fifty Years of Honoring the Righteous Among the Nations" hosted by C & S Wholesale Grocers and the original exhibition's primary supporters Jan and Rick Cohen (left) for area companies and businesses to introduce their employees and leaders to the exhibit and its themes of civic and community responsibility. Members of the Greater Keene Chamber of Commerce were also in attendance. Shaya Ben Yehuda (right), Managing Director of International Relations of Yad Vashem, was the keynote speaker.

The event took place on Monday, July 29th, 2013, with the original exhibition's primary supporters Jan and Rick Cohen (right) and keynote speaker Yehudit Shendar (left), Yad Vashem's Museums Division Deputy Director and Senior Art Curator.
