The English Language Desk, Jerusalem
The English Language Desk at Yad Vashem's International Relations Division in Jerusalem is responsible for Yad Vashem contacts in all English language countries throughout the world, with the exception of North America. The primary responsibilities of the English Language Desk are in promoting the development of Yad Vashem and its activities in Jerusalem, and liaising with its friend societies around the world in order to promote Yad Vashem. Currently Yad Vashem has societies in Australia and the United Kingdom.

Yad Vashem - UK Foundation
Yad Vashem - UK Foundation (formerly known as British Friends of Yad Vashem) was formed in 1976. Since then it has taken the initiative to educate British society about the events of the Holocaust and to create a better understanding of that tragic period in history.
Under the leadership of Simon Bentley, its Chairman, Yad Vashem – UK Foundation raises financial resources for Yad Vashem Jerusalem’s global initiatives and implements Yad Vashem’s vision of disseminating the facts and universal lessons of the Shoah across the UK by organizing seminars, lectures, events and activities, promoting Guardian of the Memory and Barmitzvah and Batmitzvah Twinnings, constantly publicizing Yad Vashem, directly and through their website, which is regularly updated.
