Yad Vashem is closed on Saturdays and all Jewish Holidays.

Entrance to the Holocaust History Museum is not permitted for children under the age of 10. Babies in strollers or carriers will not be permitted to enter.

Directors of various Christian ministries and church leaders participated in a comprehensive program, which included a guided tour of the Holocaust History Museum and a memorial ceremony in the Hall of Remembrance during which Rev. Paul and Mrs. O'Higgins laid the wreath on behalf of the group.

The visit naturally included a tour of the Holocaust History Museum as well as a meeting with International Relations Division Deputy Director Sara Granitza. Historian Dr. Gideon Greif (left) guided the group, which was led by Stephan Lehnert (right).

The Green Family, the visionaries behind the museum, visited Israel in April for a family tour and a ceremony at Yad Vashem, including a stop at Janusz Korczak Square. The delegation was led by Senator Rick Santorum (fourth from left), a former candidate for the Republican Party's presidential ticket. The President of The Family Leader Bob Vander Plaats (sixth from right), was with the delegation as well as other influential pastors and Christian media leaders.

For more than 30 years, the Night to Honor Israel event has served as an expression of Christian solidarity with the state of Israel and the Jewish people. Managing Director of the International Relations Division of Yad Vashem Shaya Ben Yehuda received a donation in support of Yad Vashem's ongoing work.

Pastor Jim's family roots come from Holland, where some of the family was engaged in rescuing Jews during the Holocaust. The Bakkers had a guided tour of the Holocaust History Museum in addition to seeing the trees planted in honor of his family's Righteous Among the Nations. The Bakkers were guided by Dr. Susanna Kokkonen.
