On 1 October 2015, Steven and Miriam Bauer toured the Holocaust History Museum and Children's Memorial, accompanied by some of their children and grandchildren. They also visited the Australian Wall in the Memorial Cave.

During his visit to Yad Vashem on 9 November 2015 accompanied by family and friends, Bernard Herbert (center) unveiled a plaque in memory of his late brother Joseph and his parents at the Renewal Panorama overlooking the Jerusalem hills
