Yad Vashem is closed on Saturdays and all Jewish Holidays.

Entrance to the Holocaust History Museum is not permitted for children under the age of 10. Babies in strollers or carriers will not be permitted to enter.

Graduate Network Seminars

Our network of European graduates committed to promoting Holocaust education continues to expand. The Department is designing special follow-up professional development programming for our graduates across Europe. Yad Vashem staff often organize seminars at Holocaust-related authentic memorial sites, and provide study tours as well as new educational resources. Here you can find more information about our follow-up seminars in Europe and updates about upcoming programs.

Congratulations on the perfect organization and implementation of this weekend seminar. It was extremely enriching for me and the other participants. I am happy that the culture of remembrance is brought to the next generations by such a young and dedicated team!

Thanks for the outstanding organization which contributed a lot to our wellbeing. And still, I felt a great many disturbing emotions, and all the atrocities that took place in this wonderful castle will keep my mind busy for a long time.

Speaking as a Holocaust educator who knows what it's like to be isolated by mainstream society and having to defend the theme, I found this seminar to be a source of strength. The in-depth information was supplemented by real hands-on work with other colleagues. The mix of museum pedagogues and school educators was especially fruitful and continues to be so because we came away highly motivated to maintain the network we established. Thanks to the excellent organization by C. Dorner and D. Hartmann, there was valuable pre -seminar and post-seminar information. I hope that many colleagues will be able to take advantage of this experience.
