This lesson plan is based on a testimony film created by Yad Vashem, in which the survivor recounts her life story at the locations in which the events transpired. Shela recalls her life before the Holocaust, during the deportation and her return to life, thus giving us the chance to raise a variety of issues, such as the dramatic change of norms, the society's reaction and the deportee's world of choiceless choices.
