"that our names not be forgotten or obliterated from Israel...."

 - as quoted from a small note written by Aryeh ben Leah HY"D as his last wish before he was killed “al Kiddush Hashem”.

These words written in the final hours by a Jew to the famous Rabbi Yisroel Shapiro, the Bluzover Rebbe, powerfully embody the request not to allow the names of Holocaust victims to be forgotten.

The Names Recovery Project asks of each and everyone who has yet not registered his beloved family or acquaintances that perished in the Shoah to urgently fill out Pages of Testimony to commemorate their memory. In addition, the project asks that any further information or documentation one may have related to the Shoah period also be submitted.

Recently, an extension of this project has been launched whereby a trained team has begun the digital photographing of the names of Holocaust victims from Memorial Plaques and Judaic artifacts in Synagogues, from gravestones in cemeteries and from names in the dedications found in books of Torah and Judaic literature.
