Preparatory Session for Israeli Arabs Visit to Auschwitz

On Wednesday, February 19th, Yad Vashems International School for Holocaust Studies led a training session for Israeli Arab representatives of From Memory to Peace - a group of Israeli Arab and Jewish public figures who will be visiting Auschwitz. The effort was initiated by Father Emil Shofani, an Arab priest and educator from Nazareth. Around 35 Arab members of the group participated in the training session.

Following the session, participants received a learning unit on the Holocaust in Arabic.
