German Chancellor Dr. Angela Merkel will visit Yad Vashem Sunday, April 1, 2007.

9:30: Wreath-laying ceremony, Hall of Remembrance: OPEN

Journalists who wish to cover the ceremony are requested to arrive at the Hall of Remembrance at Yad Vashem by 9:20.

Dr. Merkel visited the Holocaust History Museum in January 2006.
